ALL RISE FOR THE HONORABLE - JUDGE
The court room rises.
Defendant - Curt Canon
Crime - violating his probation, again.
In walks THE JUDGE. Curt’s smile vanishes. The Judge notices.
“You got a problem, punk?”
Curt looks around, “Uhh, Amy...err Judge Barrett usually handles my cases, I was…”
“THAT’S ENOUGH OUT OF YOU, PUNK. SIT DOWN.”
Everyone sits down. The Judge has total control of his courtroom. His robe is sleeveless, revealing his massive guns. He places an AK47 down in front of him, which he uses in place of a gavel.
“Alright, let’s hear the case.”
Plaintiff: Your honor, Mr. Canon has once again violated his probation. We have photographic evidence of him overstaying his welcome at a wrestling event. What was supposed to be a run in turned into an entire segment.
The Judge nods, menacingly. Curt elbows his attorney. “Uh, yea, my client would like to see this ‘photographic’ evidence, your honor.”
The plaintiff stammers, “Um, well, we don’t exactly have it.”
Curt’s attorney, “I don’t think we can use that as evidence if it doesn’t actually exist…”
Plaintiff, “Objection, your honor!”
“Sustained!” commands The Judge. Curt’s attorney slinks into his chair, shrugging. The Judge’s eyes narrow, he sizes Curt up. “Does the defense have anything to say?”
Curt’s attorney rises, “Your honor. We believe that these charges are…”
The Judge snares his AK-47. The court room screams. “I think I’ve heard enough malarkey from you, plebiscite! I hereby deem Curt Canon guilty of every charge.”
Curt looks around, confused. He goes to ask what happened, but his attorney advises him to keep quiet.
The Judge places his AK-47 down. He reaches under his seat, “And as for your sentencing, Mr. Canon. I hereby sentence you to…”
The Judge rises like a mighty phoenix, throwing a giant book at Curt. It nails him right between the eyes.
JUSTICE ONCE AGAIN SERVED.
EXIT - THE JUDGE
YOU DON’T MESS WITH, THE JUDGE.
THE JUDGE.
