“Alright…” a business like Chelsea LeClair says as she stands by a whiteboard that has “RIGHTEOUS RUMBLE PROMO IDEA MEETING” written on it. “...throw some ideas at me. What should we do to promote this Righteous Rumble?”
Chelsea looks at the table of two women and two men.
“We should do a virtual reality video game where you DESTROY EVERYONE… Fortnite style!!!” one of the men states.
“Or… we can do a vignette style mafia thing where everyone else gets jailed and some people get shot…” the other man states, much to Chelsea’s annoyance.
“You can hire someone to dress up as Lissie so you can beat the hell out of her in her own padded room and get catharsis for all the bullshit!” one of the women pitches.
“Why don’t you parody ANDREA and showcase why you’re better than her and how you can do what she never did” the other woman says.
“Get out…” Chelsea tells the ‘creative team’, who all look at her with surprise. “...all of those ideas are fucking TRASH! Get… OUT!”
The team of four slowly and awkwardly walk out.
“What’s her deal?” one of the team members ask.
“She hasn’t been the same since…”
“I can hear you…” Chelsea says. “OUT”
Chelsea rolls her eyes as her ‘creative team’ leaves.
“I don’t have time for those silly little skits anymore…” Chelsea adds, seemingly with bitterness. “Virtual reality video game. Parodying Andrea. What the fuck?”

“So why did I disappear from GCWA until the Righteous Rumble?” Chelsea asks in a voice over as a paused clip of herself taking the fall at Fright or Flight and losing the GCWA World Championship as a result is shown on the screen. “Okay, that was painful… but I’m not giving HER that power. That… wasn’t...why…
[FAST FORWARD]
The clip unpauses at the point where she’s on the receiving end of the Legacy beatdown after the fact.
“That was why… the insult to injury. You think I’m going to come back to GCWA and be exactly the same Chelsea that I was before? Is that what you expect? Do you expect the lame ass Halloween skits with fictional monsters? Do you expect the time travel shit? Do you expect that Beat the Clock Fear Factor crap? That may have been fun… but when it comes to THOSE people… fun won’t get it done…”

“It just isn’t fair…” Chelsea states to a therapist during a session just before GCWA held their November event. “...it feels like everything was just stolen from me…”
“Stolen, eh?” the therapist states as some notes are written down. “You had your big moment winning the GCWA World Championship… and then a month later… it’s gone… and to… THAT person. Why did it feel stolen?”
“Because she was never ‘GCWA’ you know what I mean?” Chelsea answers. “She was just about herself. To lose to someone like THAT? That in and of itself is fucking terrible. In that one moment, it felt like so much of the light that I knew just vanished. It was heartbreaking, I’ll say that. I felt like I could’ve done better and I didn’t. I felt like I had so much more to give and now it’s just gone. I felt like… I was always going to be second best to someone else… especially that person… it felt like all the shit they said was true… it felt stolen because… I don’t know… it’s like karma rewarded the wrong person… and weeks later, I just don’t understand why…”
“Let’s talk about that Legacy event afterward…”
Chelsea’s bitterness only grows when this is mentioned.
“That was worse. Suddenly? It’s like I was back to being the Chelsea that was a nobody. I might as well have been that alcoholic, drug addict that was a disgrace to society all over again! And SHE kept bashing me over the head with the drug addict thing over and over again… it’s like I was suddenly the joke that everyone walked all over. It’s like everything I had worked hard for in 2020 meant… oh WHO AM I KIDDING? I’m BETTER than this!”
“You are…”
“I was SO ready to just move on from GCWA entirely because… well… I couldn’t face up to that. But I know I can… and I know I will… I just… I need to spend some time away… so I can be better… so I can know how to get revenge on those fuckers! I’ve got to bust the door down to the glass ceiling for good. Otherwise the alternative would be…”
Chelsea suddenly gets interrupted by a notification on her phone. She looks at it and has a chuckle to herself as if she’s in disbelief.
“...WOW… SHE got stripped of the title and left GCWA… something about drugs…”
“Wouldn’t THAT be the alternative, Chelsea?” the therapist asks.
“I guess at the end of the day, we know who REALLY won in the end…” Chelsea states with a boldness. “I’m not going to run up the score. While I’m not ready to face up to the worst night of my GCWA career just yet… at least I’m not in that kind of hole… and at least I can never fall into the type of hole that I was ever again… so… yeah… maybe there’s a silver lining to this after all…”
Chelsea stands up but her expression isn’t so bright. Normally, an epiphany like this would have her smiling. But she doesn’t seem like someone who is all too thrilled about it.
“Except… I’m DONE accepting silver linings and moral victories…” she says as she heads toward the door, her eyes narrowing with anger. “...I’ve been at the top before… when I wasn’t even a fully polished main eventer yet. I guess that’s another thing to shoot for while I’m gone…”
Chelsea leaves the therapist’s room, ending the scene.

In the present day, Chelsea is alone in a prop room that features some of the most memorable props that she had used during her more infamous skits in recent months. She has a lead pipe in her hands and she’s dressed mainly in black, no glitz, glitter or Hollywood glamour, with her hair tied back in a ponytail. She’s wearing a serious expression on her face as she begins to send her message…
“Hi, Deana! Hi Legacy! Remember me? The bitch you made an example of almost two months ago? I was that much of a joke that you could laugh at, remember? ‘Oh it’s just Chelsea! She’s the skit girl that isn’t a true main eventer! We take her SO seriously that we’ll make an example out of her.’ Skit girl, huh? Yeah, how about I come back to GCWA at the Righteous Rumble, call my shot, and in a perfect world, I win the damn thing, Raven wins his match and I get my fucking revenge huh? You want to know why I disappeared for a while? Let me demonstrate something to you…”
Chelsea pauses as she walks around the room, finding the ‘time travel’ pod that she had used in her first promo against HER in the build up to her GCWA World Championship win. She takes the lead pipe and shatters the glass on the pod. She then walks to a big screen television that she had used for her “Chelsea News Network” special interview with Casey Holliday during that same build up and she smashes the screen. After that, she finds some of the props that she uses for PerZag’s museum exhibit promo from the Heatwave build up and she smashes and breaks all of the props. Her next focus is a rack full of costumes that she’s used in the past ranging from her prom queen look in her 2012 time travel flashback, the costume of HER, the outfit she wore for her Halloween skits and the attire she wore for her ‘presidential debate’ prior to her North American title victory. She flips the entire rack over.
“...I’m not the pushover Chelsea that you once knew and made an example of… and the only reason why I ever WAS that a couple of months ago was because you caught me when I hadn’t TRULY solidified myself as a main eventer yet. I left for as long as I did so I can LEARN how to be that… so I can LEARN how to get my fucking revenge… so I can learn how to make every single member of Legacy my BITCH when it’s all said and done! This isn’t the same old Chelsea that would travel through time and do those ‘Chelsea News Network’ special reports on PerZag at college sorority parties and ‘GCWA museums’. This isn’t the same old Chelsea that Beat the Clock by going through a silly little ‘Fear Factor’ course. This isn’t the same Chelsea that would parody and make light of everything and took great pride in joy in being the ‘Saturday Night Live’ of GCWA.
Because at the end of the day? Skits and parodies don’t win world championships!
At the end of the day, you don’t get by in the main event scene being an ENTERTAINER!
Was I that much of a fucking joke to you, Legacy?
I knew… once I recovered from everything… that it was time to REALLY take this shit seriously! This isn’t to say that the skits are completely dead but I spent WAY less time coming up with ridiculous SNL-like ideas and way MORE time being an even BETTER wrestler! Because you see, Legacy… I am not “HER”. I actually WOULD fight James Raven any time, any place! You only displaced me from GCWA temporarily and the only real reasons why I left were to BE BETTER and TO DEFEAT YOU! But I’m ready now…
I’m ready to show GCWA… and especially you fuckers… that 2020 wasn’t a damn fluke… that the run that I was on, winning the North American Championship, retaining against PerZag at Heat Wave and winning the World Championship, albeit briefly, was no fluke… that Chelsea LeClair is a fucking LEGITIMATE professional wrestler now! You do NOT get to push me over anymore Legacy… and that also goes for anyone in GCWA that thinks I’m a fluke, a joke, an F-TIER WHATEVER… a whore or whatever the fuck cheap ass elementary school shit you want to throw at me!
You… do NOT… get… to push… ME… OVER!
The OLD Chelsea who WAS pushed over… who WAS laughed at and passed off as a joke… she’s LONG considered dead and buried! Against all odds, I had a breakout year and NONE of you fucks can take that away from me!
Chelsea takes a pause as she throws the lead pipe away. She walks to a shelf and grabs a sledgehammer before walking to the final corner of the props room. There are a couple of prop tables that she had used for prior skits that she instantly smashes to splinters. There is also a small television with PerZag’s face on it that she had used in the build up to Heat Wave that she wastes no time shattering as well. Finally, there’s a news camera that she had used multiple times for her “Chelsea News Network” skit that she initially knocks off its tripod before shattering it entirely with the sledgehammer.
“You think I’m playing, Legacy? You think I’m a fucking joke now? I bet you won’t find it so damn funny when I wreak havoc in the rumble, maybe eliminate a couple of you bastards from the damn thing on my way to victory and when I stand in that ring against James Raven and win the world title back from HIM. Yeah… you wanna laugh at that? You wanna keep trying to make a joke out of me like you did almost two months ago?
Fuck you!
You’re DONE making me your message bitch!
You’re DONE bragging about what you did to me.
You’re DONE running the show around here…
I left to be BETTER… to be a MAIN EVENT PLAYER… and I AM…
And that’s why when the dust settles, I WILL have my revenge! I WILL win this Righteous Rumble. I WILL defeat James Raven. I WILL be GCWA World Champion again!
And when that happens? This time, it’s not going to be some BULLSHIT, ONE MONTH, PIECE OF SHIT REIGN that has everyone throwing the term ‘flash in the pan’ at me. No… this time it’ll be a reign that further proves that Chelsea LeClair at her fullest potential has TRULY arrived in GCWA.
What you saw was just a sample…
But starting at the Righteous Rumble, you’re getting the main fucking course you sons of bitches!”
Chelsea carries her sledgehammer with her as she sees a photo of the very moment Legacy assaulted her framed and attached to the wall. She shatters the frame and the picture along with it. The whole thing collapses and falls on the floor. Chelsea throws down the sledgehammer on the picture before walking out…
“I’m going to make sure they regret what they did to me…” Chelsea states in a closing voice over. “The Righteous Rumble is only the beginning. And when I win that? And when I get my revenge and the title back? GCWA will know why I am a main eventer, the TRUE leading lady of GCWA and one of the best wrestlers in the company...”

The scene cuts to September, right when Chelsea LeClair became the GCWA World Champion.
“This was without question, the greatest moment of my entire career…”
The scene flashes to a photo of Chelsea being handed the championship for the very first time.
“I was incredibly emotional inside when it happened. I had overcome so much to even get to that point. I couldn’t believe that overnight, I had gone from being the laughingstock of the entire wrestling world from GCW to OCW to suddenly being a world champion. I thought back to when I was a disgrace to society… my entire rock bottom… and I couldn’t believe that I had turned things around so fast…”
The scene then flashes to a photo of Chelsea backstage with both the World and the North American Championships where she’s shedding some tears of joy.
“I had made history… not just as the first woman in GCWA history to win two separate singles championships… not just the first woman to hold two championships at the same time… but also, one of the rare wrestlers that had even held two titles simultaneously in GCWA period…”
Some more quick scenes are flashed with Chelsea having her celebratory moment the very next week, the skit with the bar and the “Lissie Hope is over” party and her win over Justice Orton-Cross
“I wanted to be the one that truly led GCWA into a new generation. I wanted to be the one that wanted to create so much positive change in the company for the better…” and then it all came crashing down…
[STATIC]
The week after Fright or Flight…
“Why…?” Chelsea LeClair asks as she watches what had happened… not just with the loss of the GCWA World Championship… but also the assault by Legacy. It’s a moment that for the most part, has been burned in her brain ever since as it’s hard for her to move past.
“These things happen…” an older blonde haired woman tells her. She seems to be a lot less emotional and way more zen than Chelsea would be at the moment.
“You’re acting like it’s no big deal, Myra…” Chelsea tells her former mentor as they both talk over a river.
“That’s not my intention…” Myra tells Chelsea. “...I know what it’s like to be there and to have things ripped away from you like that in such a cruel fashion.”
“I can never go back to GCWA after that…” Chelsea says much to Myra’s surprise.
“How can you say that, Chelsea? Are you discounting your entire progress that you made this year? You weren’t even supposed to contend for ANY championship this year let alone a world championship.”
“Is this the part where you impart your zen wisdom on me?” Chelsea asks with a slight annoyance.
“I’m just trying to give you the right perspective here. I understand that this is a fresh wound for you. I completely understand that you did not want to lose the world title to someone like THAT… and I want to remind you that none of the outright trash that she said about you is true. I’ve been doing this for literally half my life, Chelsea. I’ve had some of the nastiest shit said to me over the years. When you’re in that spot, you have to roll with the punches. I totally get how humiliated you feel with the beat down… but I have to break it to you… this is the way things are going to be for you from now on…”
Chelsea lets out a defeated sigh, almost as if she’s reluctantly accepting it.
“Your feelings are valid, Chelsea…” Myra admits. “...but that doesn’t mean you should just leave GCWA.”
“It’s heartbreaking as hell though…” Chelsea says, trying to hold back her heartbreak. “...it’s a heartbreak that I never felt before… not to this extent. I can’t go back…”
“You CAN…” Chelsea’s former mentor says with encouragement. “It’s not about running away when things are going bad… it’s about figuring out how to get even and to adjust to the spotlight. This IS what you always wanted right? The spotlight?”
Chelsea nods, acknowledging this as fact.
“Train harder. Focus harder. Figure out what you need to do to get your revenge and to win it back. It’s easier said than done… but this is something that a main event player such as yourself needs to do…”
Chelsea soaks in the guidance from someone that’s been there before as she stares at her reflection in the river. She looks at herself, wondering what she did wrong last week. Her thoughts of leaving GCWA have faded quite fast and now she’s thinking about what she needs to do…
“I’m going to give myself a break…” Chelsea admits. “I’m not going to leave GCWA. But… what I am going to do is figure out how I am going to be when I come back… how I am going to adjust… how I am going to evolve… how I’m going to get my revenge on everyone responsible…”
Chelsea doesn’t say much after that. She hears Myra talking to her, but she doesn’t really listen too much as she stares at her reflection in the river. While she stares in the water, she runs through the moment that she got fired from OCW through her mind. She sees it happening in the water… remembering how she was escorted out, remembering how humiliated she felt as she walked in the rain and lost all of her stuff when it poured out of her box…
“They all doubted me…” she thinks to herself. “They’re going to doubt me again… but once more… I will prove those doubters wrong when I get back to GCWA being better than I was before…”
[STATIC]
The next part of the vignette features Chelsea training harder than ever before. It goes far beyond being physical and hitting a punching bag harder… which this particular clip shows her doing…
“I’m going to hit harder than I ever have before…” Chelsea admits to herself in her thoughts.
“Lissie Hope is out of GCWA…” she hears a radio podcast say in the background, causing her to pause her punching.
“Great…” Chelsea thinks to herself in annoyance. “One would think that this news would make me happy… but it doesn’t. There goes my chance to beat the shit out of her and get part of my revenge…”
The news just makes Chelsea punch harder… knowing that she’s becoming more intense than she’s been at any point in her career…
[CUT]
The next part of the vignette features her kneeling on a mat in some type of psychological session.
“Focus….” Chelsea tells herself in her thoughts. “Focus… focus on how much better you’re going to be when you get back. Focus on getting your revenge on those bastards from Legacy…”
Chelsea is thinking harder than she had before as she imagines herself taking a steel chair and blasting every Legacy member that she can right between the shoulders… Warstein, Raven, and especially Deana Barrows. The thought of her assaulting Deana causes Chelsea’s nerves to warm with anger…
“You’ll humiliate them the same way they humiliated you…”
Chelsea opens her eyes and sees James Raven being the World Champion at the end of the broadcast a few weeks ago. Instantly, she’s feeling sick to her stomach.
“When the going went tough… the one person that had the power to prevent this… fucked off…” Chelsea says in her thoughts. “...but I haven’t… and unlike her, I’m going back to get my revenge and fight these fuckers until Legacy is no longer a thing in GCWA…”
Chelsea concentrates on her vision… and a picture of her holding the GCWA World Championship while anyone and everyone affiliated with Legacy gets carried out on a stretcher enters her mind… and brings a smile to her face for the first time in weeks…
“It’s almost time for me to go back…”
[CUT]
“Maintain that focus…” Chelsea tells herself again as she’s outdoors with a sword in her hand. There’s a stack of cinder blocks with a small apple on top of them. She’s blindfolded as she knows she only has one shot to make a direct hit at the apple. “Concentrate on the goal of where you want to go when you enter the Righteous Rumble. Anticipate everything! Destroying Legacy and regaining the world title is your goal… but you’re going to have so many people coming for you too…”
Chelsea approaches the apple. She knows that it’s close, but she doesn’t have it pinpointed yet.
“The element of surprise is what is going to be the biggest factor of them all…”
A “Legacy ninja” begins to sneak up on her from behind.
“Know when to anticipate it… know when to counter it…
Chelsea jabs the handle of the sword right between the legs of the Legacy ninja, causing him to drop to the ground.
“Hone in on your target and let them know that Chelsea LeClair isn’t a damn pushover anymore…”
Chelsea reaches out with her sword, anticipating her target.
“A main event level wrestler is always focused on the task at hand… no distractions… no time for fun and games… no time for the skits… no time for time travel and parodying Lissie Hope… nothing but the goal… focus on the goal…”
After processing these thoughts, Chelsea makes a slash with the sword, directly cutting the apple in half. She pulls up her blindfolds seeing the result of her focus and again, a smile comes on her face…
“Perfect…”
[STATIC]
Chelsea appears in front of the camera, ready to speak some more as she’s in an empty, abandoned theater with a large image of James Raven being handed the GCWA World Championship is on the screen.
“That’s why I’m back…” Chelsea says as she sits on the stage right in front of the image, munching on some popcorn. “...I’m in the Righteous Rumble to take the first step in correcting THAT! Most of the people in this Righteous Rumble are obviously in it for themselves… and I have my own motives too… but at the end of the day, I’m doing this for GCWA… I’m FIGHTING for GCWA because that’s the real mission at play. James Raven gets handed the world championship and the best that this company can do is Mack O’Connor? Throwing it back to the old days is NOT going to push GCWA forward! There are far too many people on this roster focusing on themselves in the big picture.
They only fight Legacy when they’re assigned to face one of their members in a match…
I’m fighting Legacy because I want to… so I can correct this nonsense… so Deana Barrows is finally put in her place… so SOMEONE... ANYONE can be a thorn in Legacy’s side. If nobody else is going to do it it might as well be me because believe me… I’m not a certain someone that only used this company to pad her resume… I actually WILL fight…
I’m back because I owe it to the place where I truly became a star… for giving me so much… and now it’s time for me to give it right back!
I’m back to prove that the run that I was on before that cowardly assault was not only the real deal… but also a precursor for what’s to come… because if you thought that bouncing back from the Warriors of the Ring the way I did and winning the North American Championship was something… if you thought that retaining that against PerZag was something… if you thought that destroying and ending a certain someone’s mystique and aura was something… if you thought shutting her up and proving in the long run who the TRUE champion and TRUE winner is was something… then you haven’t seen anything yet…”
Chelsea pauses as the image behind her changes to the image of her being handed the GCWA World Championship.
“I’m back to win this Righteous Rumble and to do it all over again! Not only will it be the revenge that I seek against those that wronged me… it’ll be me proving, at long last, once and for all, that Chelsea LeClair can handle the damn main event spotlight! I am back… and I promise you all… whether you love me or hate me… that I’m more serious, more focused, more determined and more ready than EVER to embrace my place as not just a main event star… but THE alpha bitch of GCWA…
Sorry Betsy, Justice, Deana and any other woman that thinks otherwise…
You’re going to have to take your place in line…
Behind ME…
And the same goes for ANYONE that wants to slow me down in the Righteous Rumble…
The same goes… ESPECIALLY for Legacy…
You haven’t met the Chelsea LeClair that you’re about to meet in that rumble… I’ll tell you that for a fact right now…
This isn’t a fantasy world…
This isn’t some lame ass Chelsea News Network skit..
This is REALITY…”
Chelsea maintains a look of passionate anger on her face as the big theater screen behind her fades to black. She keeps up that anger in her eyes as she reflects on where she’s been, where she is and where she wants to be. She’s determined to be BETTER than she was before in GCWA…
And Sunday?
It’s only the first step in fulfilling that determination!

“Perfect…”
