The picture comes up at the gym. You'd think we'd see someone Aaron Warthog's size doing weight-training, or maybe doing a walk on the treadmill. The last place most would expect him is doing some Zumba with a group of people. But that's exactly where we find him, doing his best dance next to his girlfriend, Memphis Belle, as they sweat it out to a Marc Anthony tune. Warthog looks like he's about ready to die. Memphis is having the time of her life. In fact, she's singing along as they continue to dance to the fast rhythm.
Memphis Belle - Aguanile, aguanile, mai mai... Aguanile, aguanile, mai mai... Eh, aguanile, aguanile, aguanile, aguanile mai mai!!
Warthog is saving his oxygen, knowing that even on his best day, he would sound nothing like Marc Anthony. They finish the tune, with the instructor congratulating the class for finishing the set. Warthog staggers to the side, leaning against the wall, completely spent. A refreshed Memphis Belle comes over to him, still smiling.
Memphis Belle - Didn't I tell you how much fun this can be? And we're getting in shape, too!
Warthog just weakly nods his head. He still doesn't have the breath to speak yet. Memphis, oblivious, takes a drink of water from her bottle, missing the fact that Warthog gives the water a desperate look.
Memphis Belle - I really think something like this is exactly what we need to turn things around for you and I. Why, I'm sure you're going to use the energy you get from this to take out that new guy, Carlin Watts. He won't know what hits him when my powerful boyfriend can dance across that ring and surprise him. I'll be right there rooting you on and doing my own dance moves, don't you worry!
Warthog is starting to gasp now, trying to pull himself together. The instructor, noting what Memphis Belle is missing, comes over from the side and hands Warthog a Dasani. Warthog nods to thank her and starts chugging the water, hammering it down. Memphis, still looking towards the front, misses all of this.
Memphis Belle - Can't you just feel it, Aaron? We're going to find a way to take this path and become winners. You had a great winning streak recently and we need to get that going again, and Watts looks to be the perfect one to face to start it up. Then maybe we can go beat up that skank Justice and teach her never to put her hands on you again...
Behind Memphis, Warthog finishes his water, tossing the bottle over to the recycling bin. He cares about the future of our planet, I'm just saying. Finally able to talk, he turns to his girlfriend, smiling tiredly at her.
Aaron Warthog - Thank you for believing in me, Memphis, it means so much.
Memphis Belle - Of course! And you believe in me, right?
Aaron Warthog - Whatever you say, dear. So I wanted to ask you, what did that song mean? I don't speak German.
Memphis Belle - German? Marc Anthony?
Aaron Warthog - I don't like to nationalize people.
Memphis Belle - Oh, Well, I think it's a song about spiritual cleansing. That should help us as well, right?
Aaron Warthog - My spirit could always need cleansing.
Memphis Belle - So are you ready for the next set?
The fear that runs across Warthog's face for a split-second is palpable.
Aaron Warthog - You mean... we're not done?
Memphis Belle - No, they just keep it going for as long as we want to keep going... so you ready to keep up with me?
Memphis smiles at Warthog, a look that can melt any man's heart. It works, as Warthog sighs and goes to get back into position, intent to prove to his love that he can keep going. Mercifully, though, we cut away before seeing more of Aaron Warthog's dance moves.
