During Warriors of the Ring V in Chicago, Illinois last Sunday, there was a backstage incident involving Peter "The Janitor" Vaughn. After Vaughn had been seen helping Tony The Spider escape from a broom closet, Vaughn tried to clean up the room, only to accidentally spill the contents on two of the newest wrestlers to the GCWA, Manny Cotti and Al Fredo of the Impasta Mafia. Cotti & Fredo then proceeded to beat down Vaughn, only stopping when security became involved.
Vaughn is said to be healing nicely after the assault, spending some time resting at home. His friend, Tony The Spider, has already issued a challenge to the Impasta Mafia for a tag-team match on Inferno, instead of the scheduled match between Tony and Vaughn. Cotti & Fredo have accepted, but it's unknown if this has been cleared with GCWA management at this time. We will keep you updated for any new information regarding this new feud.
