The scene opens up with Vic Vinegar slowly walking to a school playground. He had been running because he is late to the meeting. To be fair though, he had just put on his sick duster and looked good in it so he had to check himself out in the mirror. Who cares if some snot nosed kid lost a couple of minutes of his time. The duster is the most important part of Vic’s bodyguard uniform. If the kid didn’t understand that then he could keep his $10 bucks.
The kid is looking at his watch and waiting. “Where the heck were you?”
Vic: “Shut up, kid! Someday when you’re older you’ll understand how important a sweet duster is. Besides I’m here! What are we doing today anyway?”
Kid: “I’m trading my RC car for some Pokemon cards. I need you to make sure it goes off without a hitch.”
Another kid starts to walk towards the playground.
Vic: “Is that the kid?”
The kid nods.
Vic: “Well you’re in luck. This kid isn’t dangerous. I did a quick occular pat down and have found out that’s nothing here to fear except for me. I’m about to be an Outsiders Champion. All I have to do is beat Blue Thunder and some other jabronis. Blue Thunder thinks he’s some sort of superhero but I can tell from a mile away he sucks. Plus he doesn’t even know karate.”
The kid with the Pokemon cards arrives.
Vic: “Okay buddy. Hand over the cards. I want to get back to the gym. It’s biceps day. It’s always biceps day.”
Pokemon kid. “Can I see the car first, make sure it’s good.”
Vic: “Sure, hand it over, kid.” The kid that hired Vic hands over the car.
The other kid takes one look at it and bolts, running down the street.
Vic: “Oh you son of a bitch. I’ll catch you!” He runs about fifty feet and then has to stop to catch his breath. “Damn. That kid is the fastest kid in the world.”
Kid: “What happened to your occular patdown.”
Vic: “I cleared him but I must have confused him for Blue Thunder. Wow. Tough break. That’ll be ten bucks kid.”
Kid: “I’m not paying you for that.”
Vic: “You will pay me!”
The kid sighs and throws a ten at Vic. “Loser!”
Vic grabs the money and puts it in a pocket in the duster.
Vic: “My first professional bodyguard money and next week I’ll get my first professional wrestling victory. Things are looking up boys.”
Vic starts to walk away. He has to stop a few times to catch his breath and wipe his sweat from his face with the duster. He finally manages to turn the corner as the scene fades to black.
