"I think, I think too much
I'm a little bit paranoid, I think I'm breaking
Maybe it's in my blood
Got a pain that I can't avoid, I think I'm breaking down
Hate every single second, minute, hour, every day
Person in the mirror, they won't let me feel a thing
Keep me focused on my problems, I'm addicted to the pain
Everybody's out to get you"
- I Prevail
It seems like an ordinary street, one you'd find in any town or city in America. That all changes when the car comes into the picture. The older vehicle flies by, going at a high rate of speed. It turns at the end of the street, violently, causing the car to flip over. It rolls multiple times before finishing, coming to a dead stop. The windows are shattered and the top is nearly dented all the way in. The car door slowly opens, forced to go a direction it no longer wants to go. But the man behind it is persistent, and the door finally swings open. We see Xtreme sitting there in the driver's seat, smiling widely, even as blood starts flowing down his face from a cut on his forehead.
Xtreme - What a rush.
Xtreme gets himself out of the wreckage, apparently having been secured well enough to only have some bumps and bruises from the accident. If he had been wearing a helmet, he probably would have come out mostly unscathed. But Xtreme would never wear a helmet. It's not his style. Hence, the blood that he wipes out of his eyes, absentmindedly rubbing it on his shirt.
Xtreme - When I found out I was facing Crash Rodriguez, I knew I had to experience it firsthand. The thrill of the crash. Is this how you feel every day? I admire you. You're lucky. I don't get this feeling nearly enough. But I hope you'll help me experience it some more on Friday. And I hope I give you exactly what you need as well. Violence. Pain. Misery. Pleasure.
Sirens can be heard coming closer. Someone must have seen the accident and called it in. Thankfully, no pedestrians were around at this time of day, so the only casualty was Xtreme himself. He wipes more blood off, then starts walking down the street, away from the wreck. Who knows where he got the car from.
Xtreme - I look forward to meeting you in person, Crash. It's going to be a fun night. Let the violence continue, and let it be Xtreme!
Xtreme disappears from sight, heading down an alley, even as the first emergency vehicle pulls up. We cut out.
