Micheal has had a lot to think about over the holiday season. After being eliminated from the Righteous Rumble, Micheal was forced to stop and contemplate just why he's here? To recruit for BOB? No, that was Fury's mission. To finally face off against Fuzz after 2 decades? Sure, but that was why he came. Why did he stay? Micheal needed to figure out what his motivation was. Without motivation, even the fiercest of warriors can be easily toppled. So what was the conclusion of all of this pondering?
Was Micheal only in GCWA to scout talent for the Brotherhood? Was he just a dog, doing as he was told to avoid his masters' punishment?
He is the master now! He and Fury are one!
WHAT DOES MICHEAL WANT!??
Then it came to him like a tweet!
How ironic that his biggest detractor and strongest foe would also prove to be his ultimate muse.
"Take what I want?"
Such a simple concept. One that even Micheal should have grasped long before ever laying eyes on that Tweet, and one that Micheal had always applied to every other aspect of his life, but not here... Why?
Because Micheal had been content.
Content with the bodies XWF was feeding him.
Content with the chaos that was caused by his hands.
Content with being over as an over the top NSFW sideshow act over pursuing championship accolades.
And why?
Because Micheal was an easily distracted simpleton. Easy to distract, easy to confuse, easy to keep in check, if you knew how to play him.
Universal title shot? Fuck that, let's book you and Jim Caedus to battle it out on top of Big Ben!
You're thinking about making a run for the Xtreme title? How about we book you against KillJoy in a Mardi Gras Lumberjack match instead!? We'll let you beat up the fans!
And Micheal fell for it every time. The shock and aw, the spectacle of the fights, the fact that he was allowed to do whatever sick things came to mind and get away scot free. Micheal never pursued championship gold because he was offered something he valued more. The opportunity to put on some of the grandest spectacles and cause immense amounts of suffering along the way. It was the perfect distraction to protect the companies that he worked for. Being brave enough to sign a man of his reputation is one thing, but to feature him heavily in the championship scenes? That's just asking for trouble.
the only thing is, Micheal is changing and growing for the first time since he became a public figure. The exclusion of his penis, and the inclusion of the highly intelligent Miss Fury to his subconscious has forced Graves to confront certain truths about himself and his career. The things people said about him weren't untrue. Maiming people doesn't earn you much in the way of respect. That sort of thing only plays to the few. Real respect in this business comes from taking what others have!
No longer content with being a sideshow act, Micheal determines that If he wants more, he's going to have to reach out and take it!
Show them what you want!
Show them what you'll do to get it!
Take their belts! End their careers!
Earn their respect along with their fear!
Becoming a woman wasn't part of the plan, but it has proven to become somewhat of an advantage. A career that was nearing it's end has been reset to it's beginning.
And as the camera opens to a shot of Micheal leaning against her purple 2019 Mazda Miata, seemingly lost in all the thoughts, you're left to wonder if this truly marks a new beginning, and if so, is either GCWA or XWF ready for it?
Noticing the camera, Graves pushes off of the car approaches a chain link fence that blocks off some sort of storage area. She runs her fingers through the links as the camera draws near. She already knows her message, and she ready to get it out to the world.
"E.W. Montgomery!"
"I've been shamed for becoming a woman. I've endured countless attacks on my character! People say that I have no right! They find my new found womanhood offensive! They wish me pain and suffering all because the predicament that I currently find myself in makes them feel things that they can't come to terms with!"
"But for all the talk, not one of them have had the courage to settle their disputes in the ring!"
"And The Righteous Rumble?"
Graves scoffs as she rolls her eyes.
Graves scoffs as she rolls her eyes.
"What a joke!"
"Those two idiots kicking me in the face after I offered them both a spot in the most inclusive stable in all of wrestling history!?"
"Robbing me of my chance at The Raven!"
"Then robbing me of the opportunity to properly vent my frustrations by fucking off before I could get my hands on them!"
"TK and Bobby are back at XWF, and now, once again, I am all alone."
"All alone with my demons. All alone with nothing to do but think. Think about all of the things that I want to do to those two twerps, and knowing that I can't, at least for now, and that leaves me with only one thing to focus all of those frustrations towards."
A text graphic fades over the shot for a moment.
A text graphic fades over the shot for a moment.
"You see Monty, you facing me, now, at this exact juncture of my career."
"This was fate!" She says with a slickening smile.
"Predestined long before either of us existed on this mortal realm! Our tale was written in the stars."
"The aging bruiser versus the rejuvenated psychopath! One man at the end of his career, and the other with a new lease on life!"
"Like an old dog, you need put down!"
"You long for it all to end! I know the feeling! Before this change, I was an old and broken down hack who was trying to hide my diminishing skills behind tough talk and heavy hits, just like you! This March strikes my 49th birthday, but with this curse of womanhood comes also the gift of youth, and after over 20 years in this business, I now have a new lease on life Monty! A second chance if you will! I was never happy with how things turned out! I was never happy with how I was to be remembered, but now!? Now I can make it all right! Now I can use this refreshed body and all the experience that I've accumulated over the previous 2 decades, and I can use those tools to bring forth a new era of pain and suffering for a whole new generation of wrestlers to enjoy, but this time I'm going to do it while collecting every piece of gold that I can!"
"Championships bring both the money and respect. I realize now just how foolish I was before, but not anymore, and what better way to usher in this new era of violence and gold than to send an old dog like you to the nursing home where you belong!"
"I know full well that the title is not up for grabs, but that's not the point Monty! The point will be the message that is sent to the rest of the roster when you're ended by my hands!"
"But make no mistake Monty, my actions will not be brought forth from malice. I bare no ill intent towards you at all. In fact, I pity you. I know your pain! I know what it's like to roam the halls staring men half your age in the eye and knowing that once, you could have squashed them, but now? The body just doesn't seem to cooperate! I know what it's like to pray for death every single day, only for your prayers to be left unanswered, and you to be forced to drag your sorry ass back into the ring for another day and another dollar. All the while wondering how long?"
"How long before the body fails completely? How long before that last match really is your last match? How long before it's all over, and there's nothing that you can do beyond bitch about how much better things used to be back in the old days when you could still go?"
"See Monty!? You need me JUST AS MUCH as I NEED YOU!"
"You need me to end the pain! To end the suffering! And most of all, to end uncertainty! The uncertainty of always wondering if the next match will be your last. Well you can stop wondering now Monty, because I fully intend on ensuring that THIS match will be your final match!"
A firey delight burns in Graves eyes as she stares into the camera wild-eyed and breathing heavy, but that quickly gives way to remorse as she rolls her eyes towards the ground.
"I take solace in the fact, Monty, that all of the misery that I bring to you this Friday Night, is ultimately for your greater good! It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside to know that my actions, no matter how over the top and violent they may be, may save a well-traveled wrestler from dying in the ring all because of some foolish pursuit to recapture the success of his youth!"
"You see Monty? Her will invades mine. We are like two who are one now. For this reason alone do I feel the slightest bit of empathy towards you, and for this reason alone is why I will stop only when I've crippled you and have ended your career!"
"Monty, you recently announced to the world just how much that Television title means to you. You proudly proclaimed how you would hurt and bleed for that belt. That's good! I always love running into people like you. So willing to leave it all in the ring, and leave it all in the ring you will Monty, but I wonder...
"Will you be capable of pushing yourself beyond your natural limits without the motivation of losing that title to push you? Can you stand face to face with the most violent ma... WOMAN in all of professional wrestling, and survive to fight another day? Because make no mistake, when you climb into that ring with me, hurt you will, and bleed you must! The era of old man rivers grand return to the business is coming to a close, and your end shall mark the beginning of MY next chapter!"
"Just do yourself a favor and make sure to thank Fury on your way out of the business Monty, cause if not for her influence, our meeting in the ring would mark the end of more than just your pathetic career, and you'd be sure to go out with a whimper, rather than the BANG I'm bringing to inferno!"
Graves reaches out and slaps the camera to the floor, ending the scene.
