~It was an honest mistake. Aaron Warthog believed that his girlfriend, Memphis Belle, had set up five men to attack him on a bridge over a lake, to test and prepare him for the Memorial Battle Royal at Dystopia XX. He did what he always does: he fought back, and managed to toss all five men into the drink. The only problem? One of those men was apparently a police officer who was not briefed about what was happening, leading to Warthog sending an officer of the law into the water. That's assaulting a police officer, a serious crime in any state. Now, Aaron and Memphis are on the run, hoping against hope that they can get out of the area before the police find a way to track them down. We tune in as they're currently hiding in an alley, with Memphis looking carefully around the corner.~
Memphis Belle - I don't see anyone following us. It's possible that we got away. For now.
Aaron Warthog - I can't believe this! I'm so close to a major victory. Everyone knows I'm a huge favorite in the Memorial Battle Royal. Nobody currently in has a chance at throwing me out. Not Paco. Not the Greek Gods. Not the Impasta Mafia. Maybe all of them at once, but I don't plan on letting them team up and do it. I'll run away so fast... but now, maybe I won't be there to run...
Memphis comes back over to Warthog, giving him an impromptu hug. She looks like she's ready to start crying.
Memphis Belle - I'm so sorry, my Hoggy Hog. I didn't mean for any of this to happen.
Aaron Warthog - Oh, Sweetie Belle, don't blame yourself! I should have recognized that the guy was wearing a uniform. I just got into the moment, I guess. I basically saw all the opponents who might be standing in front of me, not who I was actually fighting. I'm just lucky the guy wasn't seriously injured. Dry those eyes, honey, we'll get out of this, okay?
Memphis Belle - I suppose so... I'm just so... emotional right now... *sniff sniff*
Warthog comforts her, giving her a good-sized hug, before turning and looking out of the alley himself.
Aaron Warthog - What we need now is an ingenious method of escape. And I know just the thing...
We cut away with a spinning screen, before finding ourselves outside what looks like a roadblock. Two police officers are standing there, keeping an eye on the traffic, as the populace walks past. We see Memphis Belle come into the shot, holding her coat tightly around her, followed by what looks like an elderly fat woman, bent over, with a wrap around 'her' head. They walk on by the police officers, who don't look too interested, although one nudges the other and smirks at them. It's clear the 'disguise' doesn't fool them, but then they're not actually looking for anyone in particular. We cut to further down the block, as Warthog looks out from his 'veil'.
Aaron Warthog - That worked flawlessly! We're so good together, babe!
Warthog turns and gives Memphis a spontaneous kiss, which she returns. It must look strange for anyone walking by who doesn't know any better. Warthog then turns and hurries on, still expecting a SWAT team to appear at any moment. Memphis, though, stops for a moment as her phone rings.
Memphis Belle - Hello? Oh, hi, Mom. No, we're just trying to get out of the city, so that Aaron can compete later on. Yes, I know. No, I haven't told him yet. I'm working up to it. I know he deserves to know. Yes, I'm sure he'll do the right thing, he's a good man... and he's going to be a great father.
Memphis Belle says goodbye to her Mom and then hurries up to catch up with Warthog, who was too far away to hear any part of the conversation. We slowly fade out.
