GCWA reporters and local Dallas news are situated in front of a podium inside the media room of the GCWA arena. There is a murmur in the air as the Incredible One walks out to flashes from the cameras and microphones rising, pointed to him. He stands behind the podium, wearing a Philadelphia Eagles jersey, as his bodyguard Knux closely follows, his arms folded as always.
“I was going to do this tomorrow,” TIO began to explain, “but the two that accepted the challenge are impatient, so I am officially closing the challenge now.”
“What’s with the jersey?” a local reporter cries out.
Without answering the question and no signal, Knux goes into the crowd and drags the reporter out of the room. Knux returns behind TIO, arms folded, as TIO cocks his eyebrow.
“Anymore stupid questions?” TIO pauses, waiting, “No? Good.”
TIO takes a drink of water he brought himself before continuing.
“The answer is simple really,” TIO admits, “I will be accepting Mike Zybala’s challenge. No disrespect to my nigga Duce---“
“YOU CAN’T SAY THAT!” Another reporter cried.
Another moment later and Knux comes back from kicking another reporter out.
“Yes I can,” TIO scoffs, “it’s the same as homie! That’s how black people use it. Are you telling me because I’m white, I can’t say a word? That’s racist!”
Everyone looks at TIO perplexed.
“If you look homie up in a thesaurus, the n word is clearly there! Mad respect for the homie DJ, but, it was always going to be Zybala unless Ed Houston answered.”
“Why Zybala?” A reporter CAUSTIOUSLY asked.
“Finally!” TIO exclaimed, “a good question!”
The reporter sighed with relief.
“2015 is the year I joined Boardwalk Wrestling and where I would meet Mike Zybala. I’ve known this man for half a decade,” TIO began, shivering, “He’s one of the most annoying, stupid, piece of shit people on the face of the earth, a constant buzz in my ear. He may have been half a wrestler in BW, but since being in OCW and GCWA, all he cares about is the stupid Outsiders and being a half time wrestler. I’ve wanted to take him out for years, but never felt the time was right. So I’m going to start 2020 the way I want – taking out Mike Zybala.”
Without another word, TIO leaves the podium as a flurry of extra questions begin to come that he ignores. Knux shows them all to the door as TIO leaves the room.
