Chad Vargas has been arrested and charged with assault after beating up a TSA security agent at the Nashville International Airport. The TSA agent, William Gregory Morris had approached Vargas regarding proper face covering, to which Vargas responded by breaking his jaw, fracturing his eye socket, and breaking his arm. Morris is currently in stable condition at an area hospital. Treat Cassidy and the Vargas camp have claimed self defense. Vargas has been released from custody and should still be able to make the Inferno taping this Friday.
When asked about the situation, Treat Cassidy stated there would be no comment at this time, however - Vargas has been quoted as saying "he got what he deserved, fuck him, and fuck you!"
Clearly nothing has changed with The Confederate Icon and his attitude. It is uncertain at this time what Jonathan Barrows and GCWA will do. The criminal investigation is ongoing with Nashville Police Department.
